Sept 28, 2012 – Day 28
Miles 4.2
Total 101.2
Goal for now 500
(OK Lord here is my time of worship, can you
image my major goal of this challenge is walking with you Lord and now I see
100 miles of worship time, why is it when we give to you, you always out give
back. It was so grand and I am ready for the extended goal. May I stay faithful
to the purpose of this outdoor adventure?) I have seen the dreaded heat of
summer pass, the promise of fall coming and now the full blown beauty of your
glory revealed in nature. I crossed the 100 mile mark in Arbuckle acre. I have
bought a better pair of shoes and this should make my feet happy. Albert Mt at 100mi is where I would be if on the AT trail. Bill
reminded me that it is also a distance that would take me to the Kentucky St. line. Now that’s a thought.

We had more
than an inch in rain last night so that again made the wooded area with
interesting things to look at. One was some kind of fungus with a slug of some
sort on it. I actually found it rather interesting.
Only need to
do that 21 more times and I will have walked the equivalent of the Appalachian
Trail.
