Sept 3 2012
Miles 4.1 This was at
Williams Park.
Total 39.6
Goal for now 100
Today’s walk was great.
It was 78 degrees and a bit humid but very comfortable in the woods. It is
Labor Day and I had the day off from school. As I was walking I am just wishing I
could feel it in my heart to believe dandelions are the most beautiful and fascinating
flower around. If I could then I could just find my mind at ease during this past
drought. The reason I bring this up, is because I am thinking as I walk about
the weeds I have been pulling in my yard this morning and there is the biggest dandelions with the deepest
root I have ever seen. Why do they stay green and rather nice looking all throught this drought. Now I did
find a picture of a dandelion that is just amazing. Oh well, I am pleased that
I am almost at 40 miles. Just think 38 more miles if I were really on the trail
I would have walked the state of Georgia. If all this is bit ridicules to many
at least I have got off my duff and hopefully walked right out of a state of George.

May it have God’s
Blessing.
I never ceased to be amazed at the peacefulness and beauty I see in the woods
