My struggle with the drought this summer

 My prayer for today is, Oh God create in me a heart that is sensitive to his voice and responsive to his words.

Gods teaching in my garden.

 Rain finally after 2 1/2 months.Daily I have told myself this is not my home, this is not where I will spend my forever but how I love my yard and flowers. The problem is I work on my yard as if it is something of my own doing and feel such deep sadness as I watch them struggle and die.

This morning this verse came as the verse of the day and seem to be telling me to worship God and get over worrying about his stuff in his world. WOW! Lord help me.


"Thou, even thou, art Lord alone, thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all the things that are in it, the seas all the things therein it, and thou preservest them all and the host of heaven worshipeth thee. Nehemiah 9:6
