Harbinger

For heaven sake what is a Harbinger? Dictionary says it is "anything that foreshadows a future event; omen; sign: Frost is a harbinger of winter".

1. OK so whats the big deal with this new word that describes, from my prospective a Prophet.
2. Does the author Jonathan Cahn have something new that has been hidden.
3. Does God send prophets even today.
4. Does this described Revelation cover any warning America needs or does applying Isaiah 9:10 literally apply to America
5. Does Mr. Cahn have any thing to say that does not line up with the Plum line of Gods holy word.

Many of the above question I'm not sure I can answer right now. I know that several web sits at the very least speak guardedly of him so I will proceed with caution.  So of the question I listed above relate to the caution I am taking.

Here is a interesting thought. Are we to act on this information as I feel God expected Israel to react 2,500 years ago. By this I mean, should our leaders stop all attempts to design there own protection and committee there people and God believing people to turn this threat over to God. What would that look like.

Think of Joshua and Jericho's wall. So should Obama takes our army and march around capital of Iran for 7 days leading this procession with a fellow blowing a horn and some one carrying a bible. All this because God told Obama to do this. Now wouldn't that be a sit for CNN.

Should Jonathan Cahn go to Obama and warn of the overlooked warning God gave at 9/11. Should he warn him of complete disaster headed to American. Should I as a person living in this great country expect this of my president? Wow, I expect it of Israel as Jeremiah warned Israel. What should my prayers contain? Of course for a great awaking of Gods people. But if God really did send a Harbinger or prophet with this literal message should we forget arming ourselves, protecting our borders, and wait for Gods powerful hand, of which I have no doubt could stop any threat there may be.

So if we were to accept the truth of the Harbinger and immediately after 9/11 what did God expect us to do. Let me change that a bit, what should believers be expected by God to do. If our leaders were Men of God what were they expected to do day one after 9/ll.

1. Was George W. Bush to have us to look at the godless lives we have led.
2. Tell Americas to seek God and turn from our wicked ways.
3. This would call for us to over rule the Constitution and President Bush to seek Gods instruction no matter what that was. What would it be to fight a Jericho battle encircling the city, or wait for Gods instructions.

Could God really expect this kind of response after years of not having leaders live by the advice of there prophet or the word of God.

And what are we as children of God to do in light of believing that could be a fulfillment of Isa. 9/10. Pray, well of course. But are we to go on street corner and give a call of warning. I just don't know.

But what I do believe is 9/11 was a warning for us to turn to him. I do believe we are headed for an even greater judgement. I believe that it is extremely possible to see this country to fall. All the things in that book about trusting God, let him lead and prayerfully seek guidance and not boast of our own plans in solve this crisis.

But I not sure if it is a true message given for our understanding. There is powerful coincidence and or powerful likeness to what has happened. But I will also say it wouldn't be a real shock to me if it was.

The River Within

As I just finished a Faith Base Move called The River Within, it was a very thought provoking movie. There were two thoughts I would like to take from this show.

We are by Jesus own commission to go out into the world and seek as many lost as we can.

But, this is huge, we must drop everything if any of our flock is hurting or missing and  help them find their way in any way we can.

 We were all created for a reason, a purpose. It may not be what we plan when we were younger. The choices we make may alter how we reach it. It could take us a while to figure out what it is. If we don’t pay attention we may miss it completely. He’s waiting for us to bring our own talents and fears and join him in what he is doing. Once we do the river will flow naturally from us and its force will bring life. For where ever the river flows life will always flourish.

I know this to be true. Where a river flows life always establishes itself. As you drive through a dessert area off in the distance you may begin to see a ridge of trees wondering in a unplanned pattern. When you close in on the area you will see life spring out of the dry land. An then you see a river flowing in its own planned direction. So it is with our choice to walk with the Lord. Jesus is the water of life and our life will bloom and blossom if we choose to stay close to the source of life.
